Improving the well-being of women and children is an important public health goal for the CNMI. Their well-being determines the health of our next generation and can help us in predicting future public health challenges for families, communities, and our healthcare system. Programs and services under the Maternal and Child Health Bureau are grounded in the life course perspective framework with interventions focused on improving the life course trajectories of individuals.

Our mission is to promote and improve the health and wellness of women, infants, children - including children with special health care needs - adolescents, and their families, through the delivery of quality prevention programs and effective partnership.

Services for women, infants, children, adolescents, and children with special healthcare needs are available.
