Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program

The Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCSP) offers breast cancer and cervical cancer exams such as Pap Tests (also known as Pap Smears), clinical breast exams, and mammograms to women at no cost if they meet the program’s eligibility requirements below.

Eligibility requirements:

• Is 21 years of age or older
• Is a resident of the CNMI for at least 1 year
• Does not have health insurance or has health insurance but has not met their deductible
• Has a household income that is not more than the maximum income for your family size

Household Income guidelines:

Family size of more than 8 members, add $3,610.00 for each member.

Comprehensive Cancer Control Program

The Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (CCCP) is focused on preventing and minimizing the impact of cancer in our island community, with a focus on:

• Paying special attention to the needs and concerns of all cancer survivors and their families
• Developing and implementing strategic plans to address the cancer burden in the CNMI
• Supporting behavioral lifestyle changes to prevent cancer
• Ensuring access to screening services to detect cancers early, as well as ensuring access to treatment services
